Me and some of my artwork, which is on display at Tulane University

I am an artist that has lived and painted in both the Greater New Orleans area and in the Austin, TX area. I studied art briefly at Central Texas College years ago, but I am mostly self-taught.

I am a late bloomer and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science at Tulane University in December, 2016, at 56 years old! My delayed but treasured college experience helped give me renewed insights to my art. My style has been labeled as "impressionism," "expressionism," and "painterly." I love bold colors and I am always trying out new ways of creating.
